This is a small piece done for a challenge a friend sent me. the challenge consists of 100 key words and 5 months time allowance. you must produce 20 drawings a month using one of the key words. its all very simple really. the key word for this image is its title "on a clear day" and it consits of two photographs of my home town, (arbroath, north east scotland), and two pieces of stock art. one of the rocky mountains, and one of a glacial ocean.

the photo's of my home town are the grass and cliffs at the front of the image, and the sky.

I was inspired by something an old man once told me, (cliche or what?) he said that if i were to stand atop the arbroath cliffs on a clear day, i could see right around the world. which is why, the ice cold ocean, and the rocky mountains all feature in the image, that ends up back home.

oh, and to neated it off, it was blasted with the photoshop 7 watercolour filter. to give it that finishing touch.
